pH

Sea-Bird Electronics has developed a pH sensor line based on a pressure-balanced glass-electrode /Ag/AgCl-reference pH probe to provide in situ measurements at depths up to 1200 meters (3900 ft). The replaceable pH probe is permanently sealed and is supplied with a soaker bottle attachment that prevents the reference electrode from drying out during storage. The sensor and associated interface electronics is a modular, self-contained package that is easy to install, service, and calibrate.

Measures conductivity, temperature, depth, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and chlorophyll. It is ideally suited for extended deployments in remote, biologically rich environments, for depths to 350 m.

The SeaFET™ Ocean pH sensor is an ion selective field effect transistor (ISFET) type sensor for accurate long-term pH measurements in salt water.

The SeapHOx™ combines the SeaFET™ pH sensor with the SBE 37-SMP-ODO MicroCAT CTD+DO sensor.
The Deep SeapHOx™ combines the Deep SeaFET™ pH sensor with the SBE 37-SMP-ODO MicroCAT CTD+DO sensor. The Deep SeaFET adapts the MBARI/SIO/Honeywell Deep-Sea DuraFET technology to measure pH in a deep moored package.
