SCPlusV2_RS232, a Win 2000/XP application, is a terminal program for interfacing with the following Sea-Bird instruments:
SBE 16plus V2 SEACAT C-T Recorder with RS-232 interface (cannot be used with RS-485 or inductive modem interface)
SBE 19plus V2 SEACAT Profiler
SCPlusV2_RS232 can send commands to the instrument to provide status display, data acquisition setup, data retrieval, and diagnostic tests.
Data uploaded with SCPlusV2_RS232 can be processed with the post-processing modules in SEASOFT-Win32 (SBE Data Processing).

Note:
The SEASOFT-Win32 software suite also includes the following Windows programs:
SEATERM -- terminal program that interfaces with most instruments, providing setup, data retrieval, and diagnostic tests.
SeatermAF -- terminal program that interfaces with instruments that include Auto Fire capability for autonomous operation of an SBE 32 Carousel Water Sampler (with an SBE 17plus V2 or AFM) or SBE 55 ECO Water Sampler, providing setup, data retrieval, and diagnostic tests.
Seaterm54 -- terminal program that interfaces with SBE 54 or PN 90588 Tsunameter.
SEASAVE
V7 -- data
acquisition program that acquires, converts, and displays real-time or
archived raw data.
Note: As of March 2007, SEASAVE V7 replaces
SEASAVE-Win32.
SBE Data Processing -- data processing program that converts, edits, processes, and plots data.
Plot39 -- plotting program for data uploaded from the SBE 39 or 39-IM.
