Notes:

  1. Sea-Bird Electronics routinely supplies Sea-Bird Scientific and third party instruments integrated with Sea-Bird Electronics instruments, and supported by Sea-Bird Electronics software. The Sea-Bird Electronics part numbers for these sensors do not include the necessary interface cables or mounting hardware for mounting on Sea-Bird Electronics instruments. Order the appropriate Interface option (part number that includes 'Int') as well as the sensor. Click the manufacturer in the list below or scroll through the page to find the desired product.
  2. Where applicable, links are provided to application notes describing integration of Sea-Bird Scientific and third party sensors with Sea-Bird Electronics instruments and to drawings for cables.

OceanTest Equipment (OTE) Water Sample Bottles

Note: Each bottle comes with materials needed for lanyards (nylon monofilament line, brass hook, nicopress sleeves, & plastic lanyard ball). For spares, see Spares & Accessories on the Configuration tab for the SBE 32 Carousel Water Sampler.

  • If bottles are ordered with Carousel, Sea-Bird puts Carousel together, mounts bottles, rigs lanyards appropriately, and then removes bottles and disassembles as needed for shipping. Therefore, lanyards are already rigged when customer receives bottles.
  • However, if bottles are ordered separately, Sea-Bird cannot rig lanyards because we do not know precise lengths required. Customer is responsible for mounting bottles to Carousel & rigging lanyards appropriately, using provided lanyard materials. Note that a tool (such as pliers made for crimping on soldered electrical connections) is needed to crimp nicopress sleeves; see PN 65001, Crimping Tool for Nicopress Sleeves, in Spares & Accessories on the Configuration tab for the SBE 32 Carousel Water Sampler.
