Bulkhead Connector Change Notice

Due to significant disruptions and challenges with the supply chain of underwater connectors, Sea-Bird Scientific will be using bulkhead connectors from multiple, qualified suppliers going forward on our products.
At Sea-Bird Scientific, our first priority is meeting customer expectations. This decision was made to ensure that we can meet customer-requested ship dates. Both Sea-Bird Scientific and our new suppliers have done extensive testing to validate the compatibility of any new connectors with legacy connector/cable matings and have also completed durability testing. Similar decisions on suppliers may be made and communicated the future in an effort to continue to meet customer expectations.
All instruments will retain their standard warranty regardless of connector type. Any Sea-Bird Scientific product that is returned for service, and requires a replacement bulkhead connector, may receive a connector from a different supplier than was originally on the instrument.
